Osamu Mukai and Mika Ninagawa.
A collection of works created by a series of coincidences. Nationally recognized actor Osamu Mukai and photographer Mika Ninagawa hit it off in their private lives and began this collaboration in an attempt to photograph each other throughout the year. Mika Ninagawa captures Mukai as an individual as well as an actor from the perspective of art and sexiness in “Cherry Blossoms in Spring” and “Hydrangeas in Rainy Season,” shot in Mukai’s own clothes, “Summer in Cambodia,” which he even considers his second home, “Autumn Leaves” and “Winter in Hokkaido,” and beyond. This exhibition will feature approximately 100 never-before-seen shots that have not been included in the photo book.
