Visitor Guidelines

  • Luggage is not allowed in the exhibition rooms. Please leave them at the reception desk.
  • Pets are not allowed in the building. However, assistant dogs for the physically disabled (guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs) are permitted.
  • Smoking is prohibited throughout the building.
  • If you have a cell phone or smart phone, please put it on silent mode to be considerate of visitors around you.
  • Please refrain from eating and drinking in the exhibition rooms.
  • In order to protect the artworks, sketching and writing materials are not allowed in the exhibition rooms. Thank you for your understanding.
  • To protect the privacy of visitors and museum staff, please refrain from taking pictures with cell phones, cameras, etc.
  • Visitors with small children are requested to keep an eye on them and to take extra care that they do not touch the exhibits or display cases.
  • There is an accessible restroom located on the 1st basement of the Main Wing.
  • Two wheelchairs are available for free rental. Available for use only within the building.
  • Two strollers are available for free rental. Available for use only within the building.
  • Please take any garbage home with you.
